Sky Polaris – Northbound Tomorrow

Sky Polaris – Northbound Tomorrow

After having flown south from Madrid toward the South Pole for weeks, Captain Michel Gordillo is ready to point the RV-8’s nose northbound.  Tomorrow, November 19, 2016 he plans to depart Ushuaia, Argentina and fly to Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina on the east coast of Argentina. This is a distance of  almost 1100 kilometers and Michel will travel from the cold tip of South America to the warmer regions of Argentina. I am betting he is ready to warm up a bit after living and flying in the cold regions of the earth for 2 weeks.

What has Michel been doing while in Ushuaia? He visited Perito Moreno Glacier! I guess he did not have enough of glaciers while flying over Antarctica.

The next stop after Comodoro Rivadavia will be near Buenos Aries.

Please check in on Saturday, 11/19 to follow along as the flight continues north bound!
