News/ Novedades

Not many messages into the blog, but it is really related with all that is going on. Many things to do, and as always, they do concentrate to the departing line.
Today, the Vicerrector of the University of Granada has signed the documents stating that the project is supported by them. That is really a good news that will open the doors of the Spanish Polar Committe, whose Secretary asked for taht document as mandatory requirement to proceed with the clearance.
Now, I have to have him confident about risks and safety.
FAI is helping. They have forwarded my help request to Mr Alvaro de Orleans Borbon who is a well known aviation enthousiast ( and more). His grandfather Alfonso de Orleans Borbon was the second FAI licensed pilot . Alvaro has helped me a lot and now he has got the help of his friend Mr Lert who will write a report about the risks and safety of this intended flight, because the Polar Committee is unconfortable about that,

Next wednesday, El Español digital newspaper will take some pictures of the airplane before they publish a full report 15 days later. When available, I will link it.
Also the ACCIONA logos are on their way.
Mr Bill Harrelson is helping me quite a lot. He was the first to fly round the world over the Poles with is Lancair IV aircraft C1 D FAI record.
I have built the HF antenna according his guide.
Also I plan to buy a data recorder, the model he used (Lxnax nano)
The belly tank release system is complete but the fairings. As soon I have built the trailing cone of the belly tank, I will test it in flight.
